Due to the upcoming long weekend in a couple of days; there will be no practices on Friday.  Saturdays' practice is now 10am to 12 noon.

Live Split IPhone IPad app

Swim Teams:

The is a new iPhone/iPad app available to help swimmers, parents, and coaches easily see their swimmers' results, splits, and race analysis (graphical and statistical) instantly at any meet where live results are posted online, including this weekend's BC AA Long Course Championships.

No need to write down splits if you are a coach or parent - you can watch your swimmers swim their races.  Swimmers and coaches can evaluate their splits.  Swimmers' parents and friends can follow their progress from anywhere.  All with the iPhone app: Live Splits.

You can view the brand new app and download it at:  http://www.3hc.com/livesplits .  If you feel this app would be beneficial to your swimmers, parents, and coaches please feel free to post this information on your website.

Live Splits provides live results and splits, as well as instant split analysis via graphing and statistics, and comparison of splits to national and world records for swim meets that post their results online. A menu of meets available is given, in addition to allowing the user to enter the URL of any meet that may be missing from the menu. The current version supports Hy-tek and Athletic Director results, but soon-to-be released updates will handle Omega Timing format as well as others. No need to know the URL of the meet results as the menu provides of a list of meets available. Save old results as long as you want for any race you have viewed while the results still exist online. Instantly analyze your pacing compared to other swimmers. Also follow the score of the meet.

The app for Android phones to come soon.

Pub night

Hi everyone

I thought it would be nice to have a casual pub night for the parents that have volunteered their time for our swim meets and time trials. This is not a fundraiser or an organized event that you will have to sign up for.

We will have it at Shooters near the pool, at around 5:00 pm, Saturday, June 11th.

More drivers needed

Hi all:

 

This is a final call for anyone who is interested in driving cars and is in town this weekend.  If you have already responded, you will have received an email from me. 

 

Please email me back at: sheila_nelson@cflca.com if you can drive. 

 

The start time is Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 4:00 pm.  Please meet at the Ford dealership (PG Motors) on Central.  Park on the street and go to the main building.  Dexter will get you organized into shuttle vans and give you "D" plates.

 

A big thanks to all who drove cars to CN Centre last week.  You all did a fabulous job and I hope you had fun as well.
