706 [PGBSC] Canada's anti spam laws.

Hello all...

As of July 1, Canada will be implementing a law that is to eliminate, but really reduce, the amount of junk email you receive, know as spam.  Since PGBSC send you emails from the club Blog, we are required to get your consent to receive these emails.  However your consent was implied when you registered your child in the club and agreed to the electronic waiver at checkout of the registration process.

That being said, should you wish to remove consent and not receive these emails, about important information from the PGBSC you can do so by unsubscribing from the PGBSC emails.  You still will be able to view the information on our web site.  It just will not be sent to you, and some find this a little more convenient.

I just want to thank everyone for a great day at the barbeque!  Thank you for bringing a food item to share.  We had a great turn-out, lots of food and it was great that the weather cooperated!  I want to say a special thank you to all of you who pitched in to help with preparations, shopping, cooking, clean-up and supplying coolers.  It is all the extra help that helps make the day a success!  Thank you!  J

 

As the season comes to a close for many families, there are many swimmers that still have important swim meets coming up throughout the summer.  We wish them all the best of luck!

701 [PGBSC] Time Trial

To all the parents/guardian who has a swimmer in D3 or D2C, there will be a time trial for your swimmer on Friday June 13, 2014.  Warm-ups begin at 5:00 pm and the time trial starts at 5:30.  If your swimmer is participating in this event, someone needs to volunteer, so your child can participate.  If you are not sure if you child is in the time trial, please speak with your child's coach or Terry.  If you have questions, please e-mail me.  This is a fun event and all the swimmers receive ribbons.  The sign-up sheet for volunteers will be posted on the Barracuda bulletin board.
