Hi Blog PGBSC, Here is the News information:   News Title: Notice: Swim Meet Sponsorship Subsidy News Date: 01/29/2016  The executive of the PGBSC wishes to inform the membership that a motion was passed at the January 12, 2016 board meeting regarding swim meet sponsorship subsidies. For the 2015- 2016 swim season, the Club will be allocating funding to swimmers attending AA meets and higher with an attendance qualifier attached. Swimmers will be granted subsidy funding with the expectation of meeting minimum 75% attendance Sept- to Short Course meet date; and 82% attendance Sept to Long Course meet date. The financial sponsorship subsidy will be allocated as follows: $100.00 subsidy for AA’s, $150.00 for AAA’s, $150.00 Westerns,  $150.00 AGN,  $300.00 per Senior National meets. These swim meet sponsorship subsidies pertain to the 2015-16 season only and will be revisited on a seasonal basis. MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS NEWS

Hi Blog PGBSC, Here is the News information:   News Title: Notice: PGBSC Open Board Meeting News Date: 01/20/2016  The PGBSC executive has scheduled an open board meeting on Tuesday February 23, 2016, 7:00pm in the Northwood Room at the PG aquatic Centre. All Club members are invited to attend. Please be advised that general membership participation in such meetings is for observation only. Any questions from observers can be submitted to the board secretary, in writing, in advance of the meeting. The board will consider questions as new business items and will be placed on the agenda and addressed as time permits. The executive reserves the right to address any board discussion items in the in-camera portion of the board meeting.  The board will consider all questions and inform the membership, as the board deems necessary, as we move forward with enquires from the general membership. Bring your Barracuda T-shirt and cap. Warm ups begin Saturday and Sunday at 8am.  Please be on deck 20 minutes prior to that.  Racing begins at 910am with an approximate finish both days at 2pm. More information about what to do at a swim meet can be found on the website under the Parent tab and clicking on At the Swim Meet. Hi Blog PGBSC, Here is the News information:   News Title: time trial and meet sign ups News Date: 01/10/2016 Afternoon everyone. A small reminder that you can now sign up for the 200im and 400im time trial (Feb 6).  This is open to swimmers in D2AB, D1, Fit and Dev, Elite and Y/N. There are two more meets that are now available to sign up for as well.  Those who are qualified for the AAA Championships (March 3-6) can do so now.  Also the Williams Lake invitational (Feb 26-28) is now available for sign up.  This meet is open to those swimmers in the following groups: D2C, D2AB, D1 and Fit and Dev.
