Morning everyone, As the club is travelling to Kamloops Thursday June 1 and returning Monday June 5, the following programs will have practice cancellations Thursday June 1 through to Monday June 5: D2AB, D1, Fitness and Development, Elite and Youth/National Masters, Swim School, D3 and D2C will continue to have regular scheduled practices. The PGBSC has been invited to participate in a swimming research study by Heather Larson, PhD candidate in the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Alberta. She is recruting 300 competitive swimmers between the ages of 12-17, along with their parents/guardians to research the high rates of burnout and dropout for swimmers and the factors that go into making that happen.
